Electronic Access
Plan Services operates in an electronic environment. Drawings are available in the following electronic formats that can be printed to scale:

DataViewer is the electronic document management system used by Plan Services for the registration and issue of unique contract and drawing numbers for each project.
As part of the Records and Information Management Archiving Strategy, Plan Services is able to provide access to electronic project drawings from 1980 onwards.
Historical drawings dating from 1848 - 1979 are also available in electronic format on request; however some projects do not have a full set of drawings.
The original hard copy drawings have been transferred into the custody of State Records of South Australia.
