Business Services
Delivers corporate and business services integral to the efficient delivery of all divisional services.
Service overview
Manages corporate services including business planning and analysis, financial management, reporting and executive support.
Delivers business services including general administration of project and contract services, records management, accounting and payment systems, management of directorate staff and financial resources and information technology management.
Planning
Supports a range of planning activities within the division, assisting the effective integration and delivery of services to customers. This includes long term strategic planning and analysis as well as business planning for the immediate future. The unit is part of a network within DTEI ensuring the appropriate alignment with the department’s overall planning and integration with South Australia’s Strategic Plan.
Financial and accounting management
Ensures the current accounting standards of the Department of Treasury and Finance and DTEI are met by each of Building Management’s business units.
Business risk management
Provides risk management services focusing on business continuity and assessment of risks to the overall business.
Reporting
A wide range of reporting services assisting both customers and staff.
Human resources
Committed to enabling staff and management understand their obligations and opportunities in a range of areas including training and development, performance management, workforce planning and occupational health, safety and welfare.
Information and communication technology and records
Working closely with DTEI corporate information and technology staff to deliver a range of technology solutions. Our records management team is responsible for the information assets of the division.
