Professional Service Contractors (PSC)
Professional service contractors are professional businesses carrying out the design and management functions of building construction projects.
Professional service contractors may be engaged to perform such tasks as architecture, engineering, cost, project and construction management. It is common in DTEI Building Management contracts for the lead PSC (architect or engineer) to be required to sub-contract to discipline PSC (engineers, health planners, interior designers etc) for services not within their area of expertise.
Professional services contractors are registered in three categories and in a number of disciplines types.
